It’s What the Fuck Friday here in Sizzleland. Where we take life’s puzzles and laugh at them.

The Irishman text messages me out of the blue saying something naughty about wanting me in his bed. I text back, “I think you have the wrong number” seriously not knowing who the F it was. I didn’t recognize the number at first. His response? He tells me he has missed me and he will email me tomorrow.

Uh, Irishman? It’s been like 4 months. If you have been emailing me I haven’t received any of them (it’s called a block). Remember what I said? Yeah. That is still true.

On an application I was filling out for work-related purposes, I was given these instructions:

“Enter the content of your listing. Say as much as you need. Please limit yourself to 50 words.”

Uh.

Oookkkaayy.

When a rental listing has pictures of the parking structure in its ad, you know that apartment has got to be really, really bad.

If you are working at your desk in your cubicle and you have marked yourself out on the board as “voicemail only”. . . wouldn’t you think that people would get that you are working diligently on something? That you don’t want to be interrupted? Or would you instead think that standing in the entranceway of my cube, paper in hand, eager/apologetic look on their face, waiting for me to turn, take off my headphones and answer their burning question is a really good idea?

Well, they do.

In effort to stop having my cell phone ringer on vibrate (though I do so enjoy a good vibrate), I attempted to download some new ring tones.

I should never be allowed to do this ever again.

After searching through lists and lists of crappy ringtones I finally found Tainted Love by Soft Cell. I thought I followed the directions. I am apparently really challenged in this area as I now have three versions of that ringtone downloaded to my phone. And probably just paid $2 for each.

Step away from the ringtones, Sizzle. Step away.
