That’s one thing that i love about Seattle — that there are so many transplants that are open to making new friends. IT was tough when I moved back to Hawaii and everyone hung out with those they’d known since elementary school.

The apartment party thing is genius. What a great way to meet your neighbors. I lived in the same apartment for 7-1/2 years in Dallas and didn’t know a damn soul.
