Good for you for going by yourself — it’s not easy! I swear, I think every show I’ve been to has “that” annoying drunk girl with her boy toy or her other drunk girlfriend that just ruin the experience for everyone around them.

You know I love her!!! And Love on the Rocks is my fave song on the album I think. Although I love the whole damn thing. I missed her when she was here with Paula Cole (sold out dabnamit!!!) a few weeks ago, but I WILL SEE HER at SOME POINT. You can bet on it.

And I will most definitely go by myself if I have to. :)

Wow, I can see why you went. Alone or not, I am sure that was hypnotic.

I’ve never heard of her before until you’ve mentioned her, Sizzle. I’m glad you introduced us to her; I actually have a penchent for female solo folk artists (esp. on the piano). I was a huge Sarah McLachlan fan (pre-Surfacing; Fumbling Towards Ecstasy CD is the best), and love that kind of thing. Thanks.

That’s fantastic. I just bought 2 tickets to concert that I’m going to alone. I think it is really liberating to do things by yourself (go out to eat, concerts, movies, whatever!). If you can’t be happy by yourself, how can you be happy with someone else! This is especially important now that I have 2 children and don’t get much alone time, but just as important as before!
