Sizzle Says

Mini Bio: I relocated three years ago from sunny, beachy California to the Emerald City because I heard that every new resident got a pair of ruby shoes. (Someone lied!) (Okay, I’m gullible.)  A non-profit event planner by day and an apartment manager by night, I spend my free time blogging about my neurosis (fine, neuroses because yes they are plentiful), being crafty, pretending I’m the next American Idol, and searching for a decent taco in a town that boasts of teriyaki joints on every corner.

Yes: people & their quirks, eclectic tuneage, books, poetry, battling my inner critic, petting kitties, art, practicing seduction, perfecting my smirk, l-o-v-i-n-g like there is no tomorrow, singing loudly (sometimes accompanied by dancing), being crafty, sushi, over-thinking the minutia of life, quoting When Harry Met Sally and The Princess Bride and {name that ’80’s movie here}, doing crosswords in pen, being crafty, laughing until my sides hurt, water aerobics, tea drinking, getting mail, peanut butter & chocolate together forever, feather boas, jazz, really good kissing, sappy romantical gestures, stories, walks with my iPod, organizing the sugar packets on the restaurant table, windstorms, Vietnamese sandwiches, black and white pictures, my nephew, doing good, the smell of puppy feet, the twirl of my skirt when I swing dance, a really good story, sandalwood candles, e.e. cummings, encountering kindness, dahlias, the scent of the air after a rainstorm, bare feet in the grass, making the world a better place.

No: putting away the laundry, meanies, cleaning the toilet, white chocolate, too many stairs, passive aggressive bullshit, scooping kitty litter, halitosis, bug bites, a day without laughter, Coldplay (I’m sorry but I just CAN’T), dating reality shows, pms and drivers who cannot merge.
