Have At It

Today is your chance to ask me questions. Woo Hoo!

Is there anything I’ve left hanging that you need closure on? Is there something you’ve always wanted to know about me or Seattle or going to Catholic school for 13 years? The rules here are non-existent so ask away! Just please do not ask me to do math. I’m not in the mood.

  1. Look at Ashleigh jumping right into the difficult questions!

I would like to know if you desire to have kids. Has Finn made you want one of your own? Or does he just make you glad you are an aunt and can ship him back home when he gets cranky?

  2. This totally stems from how I’m feeling today, but if there was one thing you could feel sure about that you aren’t sure about right now, what would it be?

  3. Ben and Jerry are on the phone. They love your blog and have decided to make their next new sensational ice cream flavor be the Sizzle Special. My question is, what flavor is it? Be creative. They might decide you aren’t worthy after all if you do something bland like vanilla. Also, be aware that it better be something you like. You’ll be getting two gallons a week for the rest of your life.

PS: Feel free to ask me questions as well.

  4. You find a genie in a bottle. (A very smokin’ hot genie at that…) He grants you three wishes (no bringing back dead people, no making people fall in love with you, and no wishing for more wishes.) What do you wish for?

  5. Will we see the answers to these questions posted on your blog at some point. Inquiring minds want to know! I want to know!

  6. Did you go to an all girl’s school? (I can’t remember) Having gone through the Catholic school system, what is your opinion of private school vs. public? If you had your own kids, how do you think you would choose to educate them?

  7. If you were your own therapist, what would you tell yourself is your biggest neurotic quirk that is holding you back from true happiness?

  8. The only question I had was about the Fella when you didn’t mention him all that much, but you answered that in a post recently.

So, a fun question for you would be….

Do you see yourself having children and if so what would you name your first boy or girl?

  9. I’m a day late, and a dollar short šŸ˜¦ I’ll try anyway.

Do you feel that attending Catholic school affected the way you worship? Do you think that attending Catholic school made you a better Catholic, or did it drive you away? Would attending maybe *just* K-8, or *just* high school be better?

What I’m getting at is “Catholic Burnout.”

  10. When I was younger, I had number dyslexia really bad. I would frequently have to dial a friend’s phone number multiple times in order to get it right. I also used to have a nightmare that involved someone breaking in to my house and me trying to call the police and mixing up the numbers so many times that my phone got disconnected. Scary stuff because it could totally happen to me!

I would love to be a foster parent. My husband is on the fence about it and said he would like to wait until our own kids are much older. By then I’m not sure I would be up for it, so it probably won’t happen but you just never know. I have so much love to give and once my kids are grown, I can’t see myself living with no little ones around me.

How tall is Dave2? I met him and didn’t think he was “tall”. But then again, my husband is 6’5″ so it takes a lot to make me notice someone is tall. And I will agree with you that he is the sweetest guy ever.

  11. Great Questions, all! šŸ™‚
My question is a bit more pedestrian, but given my *puffypinkheart* for a certain someone(besides you, silly) who lives in Seattle area? Tell us what Seattle is like! We see snippets on tv of it, especially with the recent showing of The Bachelor, and it does have some interesting views– but I’d heard once it was like a very big small Town, as opposed to a City.

Tell us, is it more urban than we’d heard? Is it like a big college town, with plenty of stores and shopping, or is it really bigger than that? You used to talk about walking places, so it must feel safe.(??)
