Adundance

Sometimes when I let myself pause in this hectic life of mine I’m overcome with all the goodness.

My supportive, loving family just miles from me. A nephew who is pure joy. A job that matters and allows me to do good in the world. Old friends and new friends who light me up from the inside out. A comfy, cute apartment in the heart of an awesome neighborhood. Financial stability. Co-workers to laugh and cry with. Cats who are quirky furballs of love. Health. Laughter. The rain, the green, the crispness of the autumn air. The kindness of strangers. Possibility. So much love. So much.

I am blessed.

I am grateful.

  1. I just sat in a rocking chair on a porch and looked out at the ocean and realized how really fundamentally lucky I am to have what I have and do what I do, for the very most part. It gets cloudy in the day to day sometimes, it just so happens I’m in the right place to get the message at the moment. Convenient timing. 🙂

    Have a great holiday.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving, Sizzle.
I am glad you are one of the shiny spots in my life. Thanks to you, and Maya Angelou both, for being encouraging!
