Should you choose to go, do, and be, Sizzle, at the end of your life, shocked and dismayed, you’ll likely exclaim that because of all the uncanny events, wild timing, weird coincidences, and sheer chance encounters, all of your life’s good fortune must have been your destiny.
Or, should you choose to wait, wish, and hope, at the end of your life, shocked and dismayed, you’ll likely exclaim that because of all the uncanny events, wild timing, weird coincidences, and sheer chance encounters, all of your life’s bad luck must have been your destiny.
Sizzle, do you see what the difference is?
It ain’t me,
The Universe
Right on!
LOVE IT!
It’s like my favorite (Einstein?) quote: “I do not regret the things I’ve done, but those I did not do.”
I totally have Bob Dylan in my head right now because of the closing line. “It ain’t me babe. No No No, it ain’t me babe…”
Awesome!
This is deep. I’m torn on the “waiting” though…sometimes I think the state of waiting is a way to go, do or be.
My life exactly… (did I apologize for the drunk comments from two days ago? If not I meant too.)
Wow…. this really hit home for me today!! I have been spending the last 4 years of my life waiting, wishing and hoping (been having marriage problems and now getting divorced). I think it is time for me to quit waiting, wishing and hoping and start going, doing, and being.
Very proufound!! Really good timing that you posted this today!
Amen!!
I love the universe! I signed up for the daily inspiration quite a while ago — I think after you mentioned it in a post. This one is a gem.
Thanks Sizzle…I needed to read this right about now.
As usual, you provide what so many of us need. Check out my post today- it includes a nod to you. 🙂
i’m of the vain, it’s destiny. good or bad.
